𝗗𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘆𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗱𝘀𝗴𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗵𝗴𝗲𝗳𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗴𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗴𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗴𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗵𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, 39 women aged 16 to 52 from 20 district fire departments practiced in Stockstadt how to defend themselves in the event of an unexpected attack. Fortunately, there have not been any such attacks against female firefighters in our district. Nevertheless, the knowledge of effective self-defense is an insurance policy just in case.

The participants first practiced in training clothes how to effectively fend off an approach and even a coercive situation (including how to escape from a tight grip on the arm, how to give an effective slap in the face, how to escape from a chokehold). The exercises were then repeated in full operational clothing with protective suit, boots and helmet. Even though the protective clothing somewhat limits mobility, everyone managed to escape from the situations presented.

For the female firefighters, this course was a very surprising and positive experience because it showed that you can free yourself from dangerous situations without much effort or violence.
